Having the opportunity to actively engage in a variety of activities that promote joy, wonder and wellbeing among children becomes ever more important, as kids and their imaginations are increasingly exposed to the twin dulling forces of over reliance on screen dominated leisure and results driven educational systems, where securing certificates has become more important than building curiosity and real knowledge and love of subjects.

We are not at war with the screen based worlds of game consoles, computers and TV, but believe that whilst these have their places in a balanced diet of experiences and activity, we are keen that the richness of some of the numerous alternatives also get presented to children by adults concerned enough to source them.
